Welcome to the Voices for Action Home Page. We at Voices for Action (VfA) have been placed in charge of the region’s poverty reduction plan. VfA is a central vocal point on poverty related topics for consumers, human service organizations, government agencies, local faith-based and community organizations, non-profits, and businesses from around the eight counties of our region.
Voices for Action is a collection of voices working together to speak up and out! We are for ACTION—working to make a lasting change and to confront challenges. NETWORKing and connecting with one another to make our numbers stronger.
One voice can be heard, but many voices cannot be ignored.
Region IV has been working on communication tools such as a eight county newsletter entitled PathFinder. Current and past articles can be found in the "Documents and Archives" link found under Voices for Action.
Region IV has begun it's Mentoring Program whereas volunteers are trained and then linked with individuals facing a tough point in their life and are looking for some guidance as to the next step they should take.
